Poland is the latest country to fire up a BERTHA. Warsaw’s top restaurant Butchery and Wine has been enjoying the impact of cooking with a BERTHA for some time now. And according to a recent article in the Warsaw Insider it’s making quite an impression, see excerpts below:
She’s a Sarf London girl is BERTHA, a bit on the stout and chunky side but smokin’ hot nonetheless (at times, 500 degrees hot). And whoa, you ought to see this beauty go in the kitchen. Conceived down a Wimbledon side street, the BERTHA oven is revolutionising the way steak is cooked.
Wood-fired, she’s won rave reviews for her knack of retaining moisture, her versatility, not to mention her all-round superiority to the more commonly-lauded Josper oven. Now BERTHA’s turned up in Poland, more specifically, in Butchery & Wine – and she’s not taking any prisoners.
